Kelly is the Lead Peer Recovery Coach at the Treatment and Support Center. She joined the TASC team in 2021 and was promoted to Lead Peer Recovery Coach in 2022. Kelly started her journey as a peer recovery coach in 2018, after she achieved her certification through Indiana Counselor’s Association on Drug and Alcohol Abuse (ICAADA). She currently holds certifications as a Certified Peer Recovery Coach II (CAPRC II), Certified Supervisor of Peer Recovery- Peer Recovery (CSPR-PR), and Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS).
Kelly brings over 18 years of personal experience struggling with substance use disorder and a history of incarceration. Her inspiring story of overcoming trauma, addiction, and incarceration is what drives her passion to help others build a life in recovery and transform recovery awareness. She takes pride in her role of providing recovery support, advocating for client’s needs, and helping clients overcome barriers to their recovery. In addition to working directly with individuals in recovery, Kelly serves as a liaison and advocate for individuals participating in Family Recovery Court and Drug Recovery Court in Bartholomew County.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending sporting events, and snuggling with her three dogs, especially her dog Mr. Leroy Brown.
